Rescheduling Interview - Call or Write?

My wife got her interview notice too fast. Weird that i'd have a problem with that huh? Anyways, everything has gone very fast for us. The application received date was April 1st, we received the Parole Document on May 20th and the interview date for the 19th of July. The problem is my wife's ticket to norway leaves on the 30th of June, and our "wedding ceremony" is August 11th. We are going to honeymoon over in Europe and come back around the end of August. As you can see this presents some problems.

So my question is.....is this a valid reason for rescheduling and if so do i call the USCIS Cust Service Number (i've done it and found nothing about rescheduling) or do i write a letter to the Seattle office?

Thanks in advance!

Someone in another thread in a similar situation who wanted to reschedule made an INFOPASS appointment to hand deliver the request, to make sure the DO is aware of his rescheduling request, so that they don't consider his application abandoned when he doesn't show up for the first interview date.

Apparently, the biggest issue is that interview rescheduling requests sometimes don't trickle down to the specific office involved with your interview in time. Make sure you submit a copy of your tickets as evidence that your wife won't be in the country for her interview.

And yes, I'd also be interested if the NOA has any rescheduling information.
