Reschedule interview date??

Here is the scenario,
My spouse finished her finger printing last week.
Unfortunately, she had to go to her country for some personal reasons and will not be back for another couple of months.
Today, I received her interview appointment letter and it turns out its in next month.
What do you think is it a good idea to reschedule the interview appointment??

You can always ask for a re-schedule. The sooner you ask, the better.

Or you can ask her to travel back for the interview.

Both are possible options, but the efficacy of each depends on your file status ... whether this is a one-off trip which can be easily explained, or not.
