Requirements of L1 to H1 conversion

Iam sorry but I could not find any FAQ on this one.

Is it absolutely necessary to provide pay stubs while applying for an H1 visa for an existing L1 visa holder? If yes, is the current employer legally bound to provide the L1 worker with regular paystubs?

Thanks in advance.

"Absolutely Necessary" is a pretty broad term. If you are in the US on a working visa sucha as an L-1, BCIS normally wants proof that you are working (since that is the only reason that you are permitted in the US). They normally want paystubs to prove that. If you cannot provide paystubs, BCIS will expect an explanation why. Some explanations are ok, some are not.

I am currently on a L1 and planning to get an H1 visa for another employer. But I am not planning to start work immediately with the employer who is going to process my H!. After I get an H1 visa , can I continue to work with the my current L1 employer for a period of 3- 4 months and later take up employment with the employer who petitioned my H1.
Basically can a h1 and L1 be held concurrently wherein I contnue to work for my L1 employer after getting my H1 from another employer.
