Requirement of 1 Year Continuous residency

Hello, Can you please advice if it is a requirement to stay for one year continuous residence after green card before you apply for citizenship.
I vaguely thought I read about some requirement like that months ago but could not find any supporting document.

Please advice and guide me. I am aware that 30 months in 5 yrs is a requirement but want to know if one continuous year in the 30 months is mandatory
