Requesting an Update on 1-485

1-485 Update

Greetings. My priority date is 10/10/2001. I concurrently filed 1-140 and I-485 under EB3 in August-2003 in Vermont. My 1-140 is approved, however 485 is still pending. I am beginning to file for my 7th year H-1B extension.

How is my 485 effected with recent changes to priority date retrogression?

What is the current I-485 processing date for EB3 at Vermont?

I haven’t received any notice for finger printing yet, is there a reason or any suggestions? :confused:

If one could guess based on the current processing dates, when can I expect my 485 to be processed?

The current I-485 processing date in vermont is June 2003.

Since your priority date is 10/10/2001, I guess you are not affected by retrogression.

Looking into the details you have provided, I feel you should have got a Finger Printing Notice by now. Call your attorney and findout if he has any information reg. your Finger Printing Notice.

  3. LUD for FP recived? ---NO
  4. So far do u have any RFE? ---No
  5. Priority date ---10/10/2001

When did you get your I140 approval?
It is not a bad idea to call your lawyer about more info. Normally, you should have received your approval arround May - July and fingerprints notice arount September - October.

PS: You never know which is good or bad for you. Tomorrow the officer might take your case and in a month and a half you can be done with everything. Some cases move so fast and other get stuck ???

thanks for ur information. I guess so far ur case not finalised. Still under process , once finalised they are going to issue FP notice immediately...
