Is it possible to request a date for the oath ceremony in San Francisco district office, even before the interview date? We've a citizenship interview scheduled for Jan.13th,2006, and would like to travel to India on Jan.25th, for 2-3 months. Guessing that the Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium's schedule is for an oath ceremnoy every 2nd Tuesday, it seems that the closest two options are Jan.17th and Jan.31st. Is it possible for us to request them in advance, to give us the oath date of Jan.17th,2006? Thanx in advance,

it is a very bold idea because you would have to assume your background / name check would be cleared by the time at interview, no dup A-file; or your interview officer wants to review the file in details... etc
i am sure you could request, however, how are you going to write to for requesting it since you might not even know who would interview you?

Also, is there a way for us to request an oath date of Jan.17th, on Jan.13th, at the time of the interview? Keeping in mind that this is SFO DO, where they have oaths only every 2nd Tuesday. Thanx in advance,
