Quick question, im making a consular appointment in Mexico for my wife in order to get her TD visa stamped in her passport, i would like to know:

-On the way back to the US, can i travel with her with only my Approved TN extension and request her I-94 at the POE in Nuevo Laredo?

Thanks for the support

If she has your new valid I-94 for the extension, she can get her visa and I-94. Otherwise, you should both go and get new I-94s.

In the case that i need to travel just with my child (US citizen), on our way back to US, what documentation apart from TN extension approved do we need to present to officers at Nuevo Laredo POE ?

Thanks

Your TN extension approval came with an I-94. That should be sufficient for you, along with a current paystub or your office pass, and your passport. Depending on covid rules in force at that moment, you may need proof of vaccine, since there are no exceptions for non-US persons.

Your child needs her passport, nothing else.

There really is no need for you nor her to go to the border.

Your spouse, on the other hand, would need to cross if she wants her I-94, and this would require consular visa, proof of your I-94, marriage cert, passport and similar proof of vaccine as you.
