Hello,
I received my Green Card last July along with my two children under my name under I-245. However, my husband has not gotten his Green Card. The reason he has not is because he previously filed for a Green Card under the Asylum category and told lies during an interview when he was applying for asylum. But those lies were on record many years later, and were held against him when my children and I got our green cards, so they refused him a green card.
Now our lawyer filed a case where he could possibly receive his Green Card under the motion of family unity. I am told that he is either facing deportation for 10 years or a green card. I was hoping someone knew more about this and could let me know the possible outcomes of this case and how long these proceedings take.
Thank You.
