Asylum office requested that I confirm I am no longer in student status. I guess this means that they will refer my case to immigration court instead of approving it. I am so scared. I feel an anxiety attack coming, and can't breathe

Sorry to hear that. But do not give up may be they will approved you once you sent them the request they ask off for...I feel your pain.

For me I still did not hear from them. My case been pending from June 2013 as NY asylum office... I don't know what to do

Don't loose hope. That's all we need right now.
