I just received an email/txt from USCIS that :
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Sent
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I checked the status on the USCIS website and it shows that the current status is the same. Till yesterday it was showing the status as "Acceptance" i know that it progressed from that to "Initial Review" and now its at "Request for Additional Evidence"
Is there an issue with my case? or is it a stage that shows up on every one's status of naturalization ? I had received the NOA and I have been expecting the Finger Printing Letter with the appointment. Does this mean that its not on the way ? Is it going to cause any delay in the process.
I am aware that I will get more information on this when the mail actually arrives, but i am anxious now, cant help it. Does the proof/evidence they are seeking need to be mailed to USCIS/the address they mention in the notice or is it a the documents thats you would have to carry for the interview?
please advise.
