He guys,

I finally heard from the USCIS--my ND is 12/99. Here is what I got from them:

Current Status:

On April 27, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Do you guys know what they usually ask for? I hope they will ask me to provide copies of all my I-94s, because I don't have them! Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Do not panic. They usually ask for a new medical form or biography form, or proof of travel outside the U.S. Some people are also asked to complete a waiver request for prior violations of the immigration code.

It should not be a big deal.

Thanks canterbury2! I submitted my medical exam with my I-485. Do I need to re-do the medical exams? Also, I traveled outside the country a few times and don't have copies of all the I-94s--I also returned all the RTDs to the CIS. In this case, I can probably attached a letter and explain the situation to them. Anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks,

Gino

Relax, Gino.

Some people are asked to do the medical again. It really depends on your luck.

Sit tight for a few days and you will know for sure what they want. Then comply and hopefully before long they will approve your file!!!!!

Hey Gino. let us know what they wanted. Good luck.

Hi,
I also got Request for Additional Information message as follows. On April 25, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed.
I also submitted all the medicals with I-485. But my dates are 05/08/2000, FP 04/01/2004. I didn't received letter by mail yet, but I hope they don't ask me to resubmit medical forms because I don't want to make all vaccinations again, they valid for 15 years any way.
Here is more info.

Thanks everyone! Once I get the actual letter, I will post another thread, and hope to hear about your experiences.

ND means the date the USCIS notifies you that they have received your I-485 (application to adjust status).

Congratulations Gino. You are close to the victory.
I think the only 2 things they are going to ask of you are:
1) Updated biography info
2) Probably the proof that you stayed in the US for an accumulative period of 1 year.
I doubt that they will ask you for your medical. They have been asking for the medicals in RFIs, not RFEs.
