I faxed over my queries for my son's case (rd 12/03/2001) this morning. i got a fax reply this afternoon:

1. Please don not r-submit inquiries of this nature with this response, to this fax number. VSC will only entertain expedite requests that meet the criteria set forth above.

2. Your case is currently being reviewed, you should receive notification from this office shortly.


Am i supposed to be happy with this or what?
 
Depends on the USCIS defination of "shortly" :D

on the more serious side. I think its a positive reply as others have been flatly told they did not fit criteria.
 
What is the fax number you used

Can you please tell me what is the number you used.
I sent fax on friday for 2nd FP notice of my spouse and I have not received any response so far.
 
I think you received a positive reply from VSC. Hope your case will be approved shortly.
Could you please let us know the VSC center Fax number which you used?

the fax number i used is : 802-527-4816

but it said this number is for following criteria:

Humanitarian
Extreame emergency
Severe financial loss
Service error(does not apply to data entry errors)

i was denied request 3 times. and i was told if i send the fax again, it won't be answered.:mad:
 
My employer sent faxed a letter 3-28-04 and i have heard nothing, so I guess you are better off.

I have 2 questions :
Are you talking abt expediting the I485 above.
Also how do I change the address .Do I just call the number and ask the rep. Do i need to change if my I140 is pending only (No I485 filed).
