Hi, I am facing a situation wherein my wife's and my EAD renewals are approved but we never received EAD cards from BCIS. Now, our previous EAD expiration date is closing in. After contacting BCIS 800 number and local BCIS office, I was told by very understanding
officers that I have no option but wait for the cards, write to vermont service center or apply for renewals once again!!!? Apart from those, I think applying for replacement EADs is another option. The surprising thing is, they have the right address in their database and we received my APs around the same timeframe when we were supposed to receive EADs. I was told by the lady at local office that the cards were ordered so the local center can't help me in any way and only vermont or BCIS customer service can help. And BCIS phone service says they cannot request for status inquiry as the cases are already approved!! Essentially, they are saying that there is no process to handle these kind of situations??????
Wish our cases were not approved...At least we could have got interim EADs from local office!
