Have to go back for a short visit to COP recently, My property was illegly occupied by somebody for two years! Got to sell it or .. what ever.
My question is: I ready don't want show the COP'S IO officers the AS6 on GC when I enter and leave, that may cause some troubles. I have a rentry permit in my hand, Can I just use the Rentry permit to enter and leave my COP without GC? The RP has no AS6 on it.

Thanks a lot!!

You should be fine. Just keep as much documents as possible for USCIS explaining the prupose of your visit (financial loss...)

Do you need a visa to your COP? Either way, you do not need to show your green card to the IO in COP. You should be fine.

My advise is that go to your neighbouring country then from there go to COP. Keep in mind, they might request and review all Travel documents when you wnat to become a US Citizen.

You should be ok but I think property is less important than your life. If going back truely that risky, maybe you can send power of attorney to someone who can sell your property.

However if you really have to go and dont want to show your GC, then use RP and tell the officers that your GC is in process and this is just to let you re entry the country.

wantmygcnow, you are right, I've got to consider it carefully, but it's hard to find someone can take care of the mess..........
Gino, I have to show either GC or RP before I leave the COP port, otherwise I should have a visa on my passport, right?

This is not a good advise. Whatever you do, dont try to deceive USCIS. He can go anywhere he wants because he is a PR, including COP. If you have something to hide or you smuggle drugs, traveling through a third country may be an option.

Each country has it own policies and rules. If it wishes, your country of origin has the perfect right to ask for your green card. You should check with its consulate here.
