Renting out a property on TN visa

I am a Canadian citizen on a TN visa and I was initially paying rent on a property that I am currently staying in until the landlord decided to sell the property and I purchased that property. Now I would like to purchase a bigger house and start living there. Hence I am not sure if I am allowed to rent out the current property or sell it. I don't want to hurt my chances of getting a future TN renewal. What would be the best option?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, owning one or two rentals is considered "incidental" to your TN activities. You need to be careful however if doing "work" on such property: it should be done by a contractor or the tenant.
