renewed passport entering US

My Mom just got a B2 visa. Then we found that her passport is expiring in 8 months. Since she plans to stay in US for a year (I will extend her stay once she is here), we decide to renew her passport. The old passport with the visa will be clipped a corner and returned to us.

Would it be a problem to enter US with two passports?
