Hi guys, I need your help.
If anyone here had renewed EAD by themselves, please help.
I'm in employment based on the AOS.
Here is the list of documents, please correct me if I am wrong:
Form I-765
2 photos
Fee-$340
Copy of my current EAD 2 front and back
Copy of form I-94 front and back
Copy of receipt notice of I-485
W2 and my paychecks ( i'm not sure what period)?

In what kind of envelope is it supposed to be sent in?
And should it be 2 separate envelopes for me and for my husband?
Thank you

Photos not necessary for EAD application (required for AP). ASC will take digital photo at the time of fingerprinting. Send separate envelopes for each applicant. You can use the USPS priority mail envelope. Here is the list of documents for EAD and AP for derivative applicant, (minus the marriage certificate for primary applicant)

- Copy of the EAD confirmation receipt notice (I-765)
- Copy of the AP confirmation receipt notice (I-131)
- Two passport size Photographs for AP (I-131)
- Copy of the current EAD (Front & Back)
- Previous EAD mailer
- Copy of I-485 receipt notice
- Copy of online status of I-485
- Copy of I-94 (Front & Back)
- Copy of Marriage Certificate
- Copy of Passport (with Biographic Data)
- Copy of Driver’s license

Renewed EAD and AP 4 times with the same set of documents. Good luck.

In my experience, when you apply for EAD without sending photos they will bring you in ASC for FP and picture taking. If you send app with photos you will get EAD without visiting ASC. FP area on EAD card will state that FP is unavailable.

The former lets you save few bucks on photographs and latter is easier.

Agree with rir or

I applied for EAD approvals for self and spouse last month through an attorney. She asked me to send three pictures for each applicant. So why take a risk over a stupid issue like this. Stand against a wall, use a digital camera, print em at a pharmacy. Cost of less than 5 bucks can save u a lot of headache later on.

I filed AP and EAD renewal through a lawyer as i didn't want to take chances over a few hundred dollars compared to the annual income i could potentially lose if i bungle up the filing, not to mention the heartache of trying to fight with uscis.

The applications were mailed on 9/10/2007 to NSC, the checks cahsed next week, and the RD is 9/20/2007

dede103,

My honest suggestion is do not apply online. Do send the physical application by mail / courier only.

Wish you good luck.

dear krishnaraji and everybody,
In what mailing address am I supposed to file the applications?
My case is pending in Nebraska.
And it's very confusing to me about what eligibility categories, should I put the
Adjustment applicant c9 for me?
What I should put for my husband?
Thank you
