Renewal on EAD E-filing issues

Hello,

I have done e-filing for my 4th EAD Renewal with some wrong info and got the application submitted, I figured out that I made an error and I have re-submmited one more application with the correct Info.

Now I have two applications submitted with two receipts. I wanted to get the first application to be CANCELLED.


Whom do I contact to CANCEL my first application.


Please help, I am worried that I will charged twice each $340.

Anybodys help will be really appreciated.
 
EAD Renewal

I entered one of the fields incorrectly while e-filing my EAD Renewal, but I sent an application stating the mistake and correct answer for that field with the supporting documents in the mail and my EAD is approved last week.

In my case I made a mistake by re-submitting again. Now I have two receipts and have been be charged twice $340 for each submition

Is there a way I can request USCIS to CANCEL the first application and refund the fee.

When you E-file do you get the Reciept number right away? Do you have to pay $340 right away? I did paper filing 2 weeks back. Still no reciept and check not yet encashed.
 
Yes, You will charged right away. You may not see it posted on your accouct, but I called my credit card coustomer service after 12 hours, they said the transcation has been be posted already and I will be charged twice.
 
What is the procedure to E-File. After we got the Reciept number do we need to schedule for finger print and photos. Do we have to mail the forms and papers with the Reciept number back to INS. How many days does it takes to do E-file.

you made mistake of e-filing. e-filing is bs. I did one time I got RFE of FP. I did FP and then sent RFE reply and got EAD. its a pain and it was my big mistake. I dont understand why they are asking for new FP for this? I thought e-filing would be easy do it on-line by clicking but its total bs.

best way always do it in mail.

about your refund it would take some time to get it. first call and cancel your first EAD Application and dont know if you didn't get a good guy over the phone. he will not understand and will make mistakes.

Hello dice12,

Which number should I call, Is there separate a number for e-filing cases or should I just call the regular Customer Service number.

My friends are saying once the payment is made to USCIS no matter what happens they will not refund.

This is my 4th EAD, I am so frustrated for paying them every year for EAD, This time they have charged my credit card twice total $680.

Any other thoughts how to approach apart from calling them. I just wated to save my hard earned money.
