Renewal of EAD

Gurus need advise please

The problem is that my EAD is expiring on Sep 19 2002
and most people tell me it is better to get it renewed
but is there a timelimit as to how many days before expiry
I should apply for the EAD renewal, can I wait till maybe 30 days befroe expiry, maybe hopefully I might get approved by then.
and most important I am using the EAD for working
but my family (wife and 2 kids) are not working
so should I renew only my EAD or should I renew everyones EAD
keep in mind including lawyers fee
the total could be between $800.00 to $1000.00

any advise will be greatly appreciated
 
U can renew EADs yourself

And it is better if you do it 90-100 days from date of expiry(even if you live in boston or cincinatti, I wouldnt advise you to wait till sept for applying for renewal). See INS web site for I765 application package details.
Renewing EADs for your dependents is your choice. If you think they need them and might come in helpful for their employment in the future an EAD in hand is better than applying for EAD after securing a job.

Coz most people believe that by then I should be approved and if not approved, it seems INS is taking around 30 days for sending New EAD cards
What Sir is your opinion?
 
Depends on your service center...

But I would apply for EAD then risk delayed processing...
