Renewal of EAD after gap of two years

EAD for my spouse (dependent) was approved in Dec 2003 when we applied for I-485.

Since she was not working and was not intented to work, we never applied for renewal of the EAD.

Now, she wants to work.

1. What options do I have for renewal of the EAD?
2. Will it be a renewal or new application?
3. Do I have to attach any justification for not renewing EAD for 2 years?
4. Is eFile a best option in this case. (I am successfully renewing my EAD through eFile in last 3 years)

Thank in advance for some inputs from the pundits in this forum.

DOESNT MATTER. PAPER OR EFILE, BOTH R GOOD.
 
There is no difference in either case.
Just e-File your EAD application, mail copies of documents including expired EAD and take fingerprints,photos taken an local ASC.
I got a new EAD after a gap of 2 years without any problems.
