Renew L1A or not????

I am hoping to hear the decision for my I-140 which I filed in May, 06 before my L1A visa expires on November. I have also filed for I-485 concurrently however, I am confused on whether to renew my L1A or not. Please advice....

If you can, it's always better to maintain non-immigrant status. So extend it if possible.
If not, get EAD.

Thanks GotPR for your quick response. I have already received EAD which is valid until next July. Do you still think I should renew my L1A? The lawyer's fee is too expensive.............so I am hoping to not renew it but Do you think I should renew? thanks

Only problem w/o maintaining L1 status is
1. In case of I485 denial, you go out of status immediately.
2. You can not bring your family to the US as non-immigrant.

Unless these two are not problem for you, you can go with EAD and AP.
