Hi,

First, My card has expired for awhile and I know it's bad. I should have done it sooner. Anyway, I was doing the E-Filing and there are some questions in there that i don't understand.

City of Residence where you applied for an Immigrant Visa or Adjustment of Status

Consulate where Immigrant Visa was issued or USCIS office where status was Adjusted

Date of Admission as an immigrant or Adjustment of Status.

I came here when I was 2 years old and I didn't do the paper work when i had to renew.

From what I can gather i got my Permanent Residence when I immigranted here.

You had noncitizen parents who brought you into the US at 2, and they never became citizens before you were 18? If they did become citizens, you may already have automatically become a citizen.

If you're not a citizen, you'll have to talk to your parents to find out how and where you got your first green card.

My mom did, but she didn't know it was possible, but i'm over 18. My issue is asking them is close to useless as they dont' know/understand the question...this is why I'm on this board.

How old were you when your mom became a citizen? When was that (what year)?

Your date of admission should be shown on your green card.

Your parents do not know where they were when they applied to immigrate?

1995-96 i was about 16. My difficulty is they don't understand what i'm asking, so i cant' trust their answers, which requires me to do my own research.
