Hello members,

My I-485 was approved (through marriage) recently. I am planning on joining the military. I would really want to joing Air Force, but they does not accept people with 2 year conditional green card. Army does accept, but I would rather want to go to Air Force. I could wait 2 years and enlist, but my age is agaist my side.
Do any of you guys know if USCIS would remove my condition sooner to join the AF? Should I schedule an Infopass and discuss this matter? Or is this just implausible?

It's implausible.

You can get citizenship quickly by joining the army, but then you would have to worry about getting transferred to the air force.

Jack is right, see the Air Force website where it says:

*You must meet these basic requirements to enlist the US Air Force. To QUALIFY for the US Air Force you must: Be a US citizen or have valid unrestricted alien registration card from the USCIS with at least 2 years remaining until expiration (You must obtain this status on your own, the Air Force cannot assist you with obtaining it). To be an Air Force Officer you must be a US Citizen.

That would rule out conditional residents until the conditions are lifted.
