REMOVAL PROCEEDINGS in US-CANADIAN IMMIGRATION- FBI BACKGROUND CHECK.PLEASE,HELP!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,
I'm in removal/deportation procedings in the US for violation of my visa status, was arrested by INS and released under the bond.My court date is in 6 month. Before all these happened and I was in status I applied for canadian immigration process as a skilled worker.Recently I received letter with updated FBI background check request form consulate and do not know what to do.Will my current immigration status appears on FBI report? If yes will it make me inadmissible to Canada? Please, help!

nil1978, don't panic.

I am gonna tell you what happened to one of my friend. He got arrested for violation of visa status 2-3 years ago by INS. He was also investigated by FBI. He got letters of recommendations before his court date from his friends, or other people that he knew just to show the court that he had been a good guy all along basically. then the court decided on his deportation. they gave him a month or so to leave. him and his fiancee went to another country(his fiancee's country) and they hired a lawyer and they applied for Canada PR from there. They got approved in a year and a half. so I don't think being arrested by INS has anything to do with FBI, because you're not targeted directly by FBI because of a crime or anything else. the question is, will your canada PR be approved before your removal date? also you may want to ask a lawyer about all these as well. but this is basically what happened to my friend. request your FBI background check with your fingerprint card, and wait to see what happens. it should take about 6 weeks for that. good luck

I'm already received interview waiver and just need to update my FBI background.
Thank you fir your reply.
