Removal of conditions

I heard that you have to sent alot of evidence and then the boss of an office will decide if an interview is required.
I think it would be helpful to start now i kinda have a good idea of what to collect but how strict are they with that interview if i have to go and how hard is it to remove the conditions.
My theory based on what a lawyer said is that they rarely deny anyone for conditional GC unless it is plainly obvious its a fraud.
Now that i have my green card in my wallet which looks pretty bland on the front, the EADS look way cooler (except the cool hologram on the back) given the expiration date on it i will have been married to my wife almost 4 years and known her for 5 years.
Are they really going to give me problems even with the red flags?
How bad is it?
Any stories?

Oh, mate... It's a painful subject for me... I applied to remove my conditions (with whole bundle of evidence)in June 2005 at Cal service center... Now, more than 11 months later, I am still waiting for those damn conditions to be removed. We have been married for 5 years, and known each other for almost 9 years...
I've heard a lot of stories when applicants been waiting since 2004 after filing I-751. In some cases, however, it took only few months to process the damn thing...
But you right, in most cases it's a 99% chance to get an approval without interview.
I, on the other hand, simply do not give a f.... anymore. Next week I am filing my N-400, so I will probably will have two interviews (I-751 and N-400) combined when the time comes.

yeah, i heard the same that the wait time is ridiculous on these cases. Question though, once your I-751 is pending, are you eligible to re-apply for Advance Parole/EAD??

In cases like this you can get an infopass and get an one year extension stamp on your passport .

i think the applicant needs to keep getting the extension stamp on his/her passport till the conditional is lift up.

is it correct?

Yes, after the two year card expires you have to keep getting your passport stamped.. they usually do an extension for one year so hopefully you have to get only one stamp.

Not really. No stamp is needed. When an applicant applies for removal of conditions, USCIS sends NOA, which is an official extension. Only when this extensions expires, one must put a stamp in his/her passport.

What Advance Parole/EAD?
:)
Once you get your conditional GC, there's no more EAD or Adv. parole, the GC itself grants the right for travel and work...
After one applies for I-751, he or she gets an automatic extensions for a year. If his or hers conditions are not removed, and the extension itself is expired, USCIS extends original GC once again. When the I-751 is pending, the extension of your first GC gives you the same right to work and to travel outside the country...

well i figure 2 years for the GC then 1 year for removal, then apply for citizenship, so no problem i guess once you get the conditional its a done deal, i just think considering the red flags we have and the fact the interview went so well it scares me a little too much, like when it's too quiet and you expect something to happen could be because i am from Britain, who knows, their relationship is quite good right now, never better in fact.
Weird but i am hoping i get my 10 year GC then citizenship and never have to deal with this again.

Oh, mate, please! Don't think this way...Think positive! If you had quite and lovelyinterview, and got your GC at no time then be happy:) Moreover, nobody really can predict how long will it take to remove those bloody conditions... I have read a post from somebody in Nebraska who got them removed in 1,5 months! Plus, it's too early for you to worry:) Just enjoy your new status:)
As for your hopes mate... Well, aren't we all hoping for the same result?
Best of luck to you!
