Relocating while N-400 in process

I have filed for US Citizenship at Nebraska Service Center based on my residency (I have resided at this location for 5 years) at chicago, IL. I understand that paperwork will be processed at the Chicago District Office.

a. I am taking up a position with a company in Texas and plan to move to that location. However, I will maintain a mailing address that is still in the Chicago district, but my residency will be in a new district.
Q. Can I move out of the district from where I have filed the paper work? Note: I will be able to travel to Chicago to complete finger printing, interview process, and oath ceremony.

b. The new company, which is based in Texas, wants me to spend extended periods of time outside the country. Hence, both my wife and me will also reside out of the country for some period of time during processing. Again, we will be able to visit Chicago for finger printing, interview process, and oath ceremony.
Q. Will residing outside the USA during the processing of the citizenship adversely impact the decision? Will it cause any issues during the interview?

c. We also plan to keep working with the same company and live outside the country after we obtain the citizenship and US passports.
Q. Will divulging this information during the interview process adversely impact the decision?

suggestion

I am not sure whether this is a possibility or not, but here it goes:

Eventhough you have taken a job outside the country, you can still show your investments ...etc... in US. Also you can give your friend's address. This way you are not abandoning your GC. This is what one of my friend is thinking of doing. Please let me know, how things go.

That is what I was thinking. Infact, I will paid in USD in a US bank and will be filing with IRS. Additionally, I will traveling abroad first time two months into the process and coming back and forth at least 4 times in the next six months which I think is amount of time it will take to process my application.

My bigger concern is moving to Texas which is out of the district where I have filed.

Any suggestions, anyone with previous experience?

Thanks for the help in advance..

joe f is right...while processing your citizenship its a big no to be working offshore....
and moving to texas too,i would say better hold on for a while coz i had a friend in the same situation,he thought he was smart and he could pull it off...he moved from cali to texas...for the interview he flew back to cali...guess what lady asked for paystub....thts it she said case needs to be transferred to texas...poor guy had to wait 4 more months for the interview in texas...
so if u allready have your interview dates i would suggst you hold on for a while in nebraska.but like everything else there is a loophole ,especially if you are a contractor...but that is only for people living within u.s.a...so always better to consult a lawyer...
try ron...

Thanks for all the responses. However, how does paystub decide where my residency is. Is holding a job a requirement for citizenship? What if I dont have a job or someone in timbuktu is paying me! What has paystub got to do with it? I was a consultant for a long time for a company in CA and my paystub was from CA, but I resided in IL. Does that mean I have to file in CA? I think you have to prove residency....But, what if you are living with your chacha and mama and do not have any bills on your name to verify residency in a particular state??

Thoughts please

hypthetical case

applied from state A on 01/01/2006 .State A N-400 Proceessing date 01/01/2004.

Moved on 02/01/2006 to state B. N-400 processing date 01/01/2005.

What will be the processing date for guy. Is it better to transfer the case or continue with old state. Disregard other variables such as legality, covenience etc.

Thanks.
