My husband and I are filing for adjustment of status through marriage. We received all our paperwork back and several rejection notices.
So we updated the documents as new versions. Do we send in all the old versions AND new? There’s typed numbers all along the bottom of all our pages and even check.
I was going to send in two folders, one with old paperwork and supporting documents. And one folder with all the correct paperwork and supporting documents along with a cover letter explaining the two folders.
My most important question is: do we send in a new check?? They sent that back too, the typed numbers are on the back, like they scanned it with all other paperwork from first submittal.
I don’t want to send it all back with just the old check and no new check and have it be rejected AGAIN but for lack of payment. But I also don’t want to send a new check and have them cash both of them!
