My H1b was rejected at the london counsulated because the lady refused to accept that h-1 can extend over 6 yrs. She even threatened to invalidate my h1 with DHS, said that they should not have given it in the first place. UK is not my country of residence. Can anyone advise?
1) Should i go back to the counsulate in UK and try again, if so what documentation do i need to take?
2) Or should i return to my home country and try there?
3) Will the fact that they rejected me have any bearing?
Thanks in advance

This is mistake of Visa officer she does not know that H1 can be extended for 7th year. Go to your lawyer and get the copy of regulations for 7th year Visa or H1 extension, it is much better to get visa stamp from your home country or from DOS in US if your previous Visa stamp has not been expired more than 1 year and you are in US if you are out involve your lawyer or go to your home country and also lodge a complain about the Visa officer with department of state (DOS) if you remember the name of lady Visa officer and date write to the DOS or send complaint to the Chief counsel officer of particular consulate
