Reinstating H1B status after using EAD

Hi,
I am currently working on H1B. My company informed that they are running out of business and closing next week.
I have applied I485 based on my husband's GC application and have valid EAD at present.
Is it possible for me to use the EAD temporarily and reinstate the H1B status later, if the new employer is willing to do a H1?

thanks,
Deej

actually i want to correct myself.
I think if your new H1B is approved while you are working on EAD, then you are back in H1B status. After you are back in H1B status stop working with EAD.

That's a grey area. H1 could be approved as new or change of status petition. If it's change of status there is I-94 attached to approval. But working on EAD there is no valid non immigration status to change from. Then the only way is to go out of the country, get visa stamp and enter in H1 status.
