Regular processing time for EB-1/NIW at TSC/NSC

How long is it taking TSC/NSC to process EB-1 and NIW I-140 petitions filed regularly. I understand that PP is only available for EB-1. (I am from non-retro country).

I plan to file my application in near future. The lawyer recommended regular process as opposed to PP because he has seen generic RFE for PP even if you have submitted the evidence with initial applications. I have seen some talking about the issue on this forum but others are getting it without generic RFE.

Please advise.

Based on USCIS processing times TCS is taking 6 months and NSC 9 months (projected from their Aug and May 2006 processing dates). However, I see some regular (non-PP) petitions (on trackitt.com and by users posting here) are processed within 60 days or less. Are these cases out of usual norms?

Because if that is the case I will go along with the lawyer and not file for PP (2 months is not a long wait). But if is almost always taking 6-9 months, I can convince my lawyer for PP for EB-1 and take the chance of getting "industry-wide universal RFE" (as the lawyer terms it).

Yes, I am like you confused as some cases just seems to be out of order. I am not sure why is that. Note that some of these regular cases became upgraded to PP as some users mention in the notes section of trackitt. But still, I have contacted some users and they said they did not upgrade to PP and their case was done not in order as it seems.

This link here can predict when your case might be approved based on the information of approvals somehow this site receives. Try and see what are your chances.
