regional DOL case number

Hi everyone,

My Labor has been transferred to Regional DOL. I called my lawyer asking for case number, but she said the case number they got was given by state SESA when the case was transferred to regional DOL, once the case reaches Regional DOL, the regional office will assign another case number which is different from the state one. Is that true?

She is right...Regional DOL recieves LC file from all the different SESA offieces in that region therefore they assign their own case # to avoid duplication.

If you know your employer office phone # (the # on PART-A, column 5 in your LC application) then you can call your regional DOL AVM system and get case # provided DOL have entered that in system....
