Hello All,

If Spouse is in USA in H4 Visa and after 1 or 2 years if the spouse gets H1 Approved, for H1 Stamping can they get the stamping done in US itself or do they need to come to India for Visa Stamping of H1. Can someone please clarify.

Stamping (Revalidation) in the US is not possible now. If you need stamp, you need to get it at US consulate abroad.
Regarding H4 to H1, it depends on how change of status goes.
If change of status was approved(New I94 attached to H1 approval notice), your wife does not need to travel to get H1 stamp.
If change of status was denied, she needs to go to US consulate(abroad) to have H1 stamp in passport and then she needs to reenter the US with stamp.
