Regd Fingerprinting Validity

My 485 was filed in Jan'03 and I got my fingerprinting done in Feb'02. 485 still pending.

Is it certain that I will have to do my fingerprinting again coz they are more than One yr old. .. Is there a method to this madness .....or INS just goes case by case

------ if you did FP and I-485 is still pending then if 15 months have passed for last FP then you will get notice of second FP before I-485 approval
FP expire after 15 months
