Regarding travel (on H1B)!!

Dear Everyone,

My H1B visa stamp is expiring on March 3rd 2009. I am planning to go to India from Aug 16th - September 6th 2008 to get married. Is it risky to go to india during that time as while coming back i will have less than 6 months of valid visa.

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

IMO, 6 months is good enough time. You should not have any issues while coming back due to this reason. I personally know some one who came back with just 2 months left of H1 stamp, had no problems.

What about L1b. I have only 3 months left over in my L1b. I like to go to India just for a week vacation. Is it possible? Will there be any problem when I come back.
