regarding EB3 to EB2

I am starting the H-1B 7th year and my LC was just approved. I belong to the Worldwide category. My lawyer has applied LC via EB-3 when I clearly qualify for EB-2 (More than 5 ys experience and a managerial position).

My objective is to apply for I-485 as soon as possible, so here are my concerns:

Although the answer for the first question will be NO, here it goes:
1) Can I change EB-3 for EB-2 now, before I apply for I-140?

Let's suppose the answer to "1" is NO

2) Once I apply and my I-140 gets approved after a couple of months more, can I reapply for labor under EB2?

I want to use EB2 worldwide to apply for I-485 ASAP.

Why do you need to wait for I140 to clear? You can reapply Eb2 LC now itself.. I would suggest you do that and not waste anymore time..

good luck,

LC filinng decides if it is EB3 or EB2.
from EB2 to EB1 you cannot convert, one can file EB1 directly without filig LC. what is your field for EB1? if you are eligible for EB1 you can directly file I-140. I dont know your field of Extraordinary ability
