Dear all,
I am planning to file I-485 in July 1st week for that I have all the paper work except date of birth certificate (DOBC). To get my DOBC in july is not possible. Some body told me I can get affidavits through parents and relatives, so I am new to this site please kindly answer to the following questions.
1) What are the other options for Date of birth certificate?
2) In case of affidavits how many I need to get?
3) Without parents affidavits is it ok to submit affidavits from relatives?
4) My mom is with me (in US) can I have affidavit from her? if so how can i get it? do i need any special forms etc...
Answers to above questions would be greatly appreciated

If birth was registered then get birth certificate.
If birth was not registered then get non-availability certificate from municipality or village panchayat + 2 affidavits. Affidavits from India need to be on stamp paper signed before Notary Public. Your mother in US can get affidavit made in US and can get it signed before Notary and second affidavit should be from your father or relative (relative need to mention his/her relationship with you and how he/she knows about your Birth date and place of birth. Submit the I-485 with all the papers. Yesterday I read a Post that I-485 was rejected, as the person did not submit Birth certificate and affidavits.
