regarding change of address

Hi everyone,
I have two questions for you. I change my address and place of living. I send the AR11 form but I never got any answer.I'm just curious do I need to get any confirmation from INS about the change or not. And the other thing: which asylum office I need to contact for further information - the old one before the change or the new one at the place where I am at now.

if i were u, i'd go to the nearest ins office to ask for record of my current address appear in ins' database.

800 number at BCIS site. Can asylees leverage that number to find out what address is in database for them?
