Hello,

I was in US on B1 visa for 11 months. I extended port of entry ie., I-94 twice.

I left the country before my last I-94 expires.

I went for L1 visa stamping last week. The embassy people asking me to give the co explanation for my stay in US on B1 visa with supporting documents.

can you please suggest me what to do now? and what documents do I need to prepare.

The reason why I am there was, I went to US to get the requirements for setting up an Environment here. But the schedule gets delayed, so I applied for first extension. When I was about to leave, our company got one more project which I have to take the requirements. So I am forced to stay there for another 5 months. Our company applied for one more extension.

Once my work is done, I left the country before my I-94 expires.

Please suggest me your valuable opinions.

Your immediate response is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Raveendra

Ask your company to give a letter putting all the genuine reason as you mentioned.

Your company is the one who ask for the extension, they should have enough paperwork about it. Plus you should have the approvals of those extensions for your records.

Good luck,
