Guys my 485 was file @ CSC in March'2002. And I have after that moved to VSC area(Jun 2003 -using AC21). So would my case be transfered to VSC area?
Does that mean that now it would hell lot time to approve or disapprove application?

Pls do let me know.
thanks in advance,

my 2 cents

if you report to CSC about changing your location, the case may be transferred to the local USCIS office where you live (not Vermont Service Center).

He is right, except it will first go to VSC, after which in 99% probability it will be txferred by VSC to the local office for interview.

How much time will depend on the local office queues.

I already notified CSC about my change of address

Would the status be update as transferred to Local office. ?
I know I'm still very far for these. But just trying to find out good pic.

Thanks guys

I am too in the same boat. I filled in CSC and then moved to MA.
So, far my FP notice, AP and EAD has come from CSC. I got my FP at Boston. I got my 2nd EAD and AP too from CSC. I got iEAD from Boston. Its almost 2 yrs now and my file has not been transfered here yet.
Ur case will not be transfered to VSC, till u request for it. My lawyer advised against center change, as the file may again go to the end of the pile. Dont worry, just get ur address changed so that u can get iEAD at local office and ur FP will be scheduled at local office. If interview is required it too will be scheduled in the local office.
