Hi,

I have valid H1 petition and visa from company A.If i need to apply for my wife's visa (who is in India) -

Will I have to get her H4 petition approved from company or is it that its not required?

Can I myself directly apply (i.e not go through the company) for her consulate interview date by providing her my H1 petition approval doc?

Apply directly for consulate interview, provide your H1 support papers, she will be issued H4.

What supporting papers should be presented for the successful issuance of the H4 visa?
