refund for ead

I had applied for EAD during 1st week of July and my RD for EAD was July 17th.

In the mean time my GC got approved and also got my PP stamped.

Will the BCIS refund my EAD money or will they send my EAD?

Should I ask for refund of EAD?

Any suggestions?

ND - 01/17/2002.
AD - 08/14/2002.
Date Stamped - 08/21/2002.
 
Suggest throw the EAD in trash.
Come on now, you got your GC. Still you want to spent time and energy into these things. Are'nt you fed up by now dealing with pre-GC nuisances?.
Stop contacting BCIS now at least for $100 refund.You never know they open your file for EAD refund inquiry and find out something else and send you a RFE again for post-GC.

the BCIS might refund your EAD app fee.
at the same time they might revoke your GC.

They say your habit doesn't change even if you die, what a miser. We should not even respond to this nonsenses. mssjan03 in short just njoy your freedom you will make many 120$ with your gc
 
I do not know why you guys are scared of BCIS.
They are doing their job.

You should be scared only if you are guilty like submitting of fake docs etc;, changing firm and not informing BCIS or trying to be over smart with BCIS.

Yesterday I contacted my atty rergarding the same.

My atty has already contacted BCIS as soon as I got my GC and he also got letter from BCIS that since my A# has already been processed they are sending back the EAD check in four-eight weeks time.

You guys try to scare everyone.

No need to be scared. If there is a logical reason to get the money back like in your case, hell yes go for it... I dont see any reason for the members of this forum to call you names...

BCIS guilty for delaying 485s

Technically, under no circumstances you can get your application fee back once the check is cleared. However, BCIS is guilty for not approving your case on time. Otherwise, you would have not applied for this EAD.

The fact that they decided to refund your money shows their consciousness of guilty.

Hi YJay,

My atty calcluated wrongly even for H1 renewal and INS returned back the extra amount stating that I have paid more.

I think some times they refund and sometimes they do not.

If the officer has a fight with his wife the previous day whatever he does the next day at work will be negative. Sends RFE, does not refund amount, Sends Denial Notices etc;.

We are at the mercy of the emotions of the BCIS officers.
