Reference Letters if job requires no experience?

Hi all,

First off, thank you all so much for being so generous with your time and knowledge. I've learnt so much here.

My PERM indicates no experience is req'd for the job. All my 8 years exp is with employer who's petitioning which I couldn't use
I did list some previous experience but it was all before my BA degree, so pretty irrelevant.

I presume I do NOT have to get reference letters from these employers for my I-140, right?
