Ref - Employment letter (please help)

CSC was requesting employment letters (in company's letter head indicating title, experience, employment date, etc) from my current and previous employers. It would be very difficult to get that from my prior one, which has been out of bussiness for almost two year by now and I was there for only about 10 months. How can I meet that requirement? My current employer sponsored my green card petition. Do you think if I get court bankcruptcy record to support that, would be okay.

Your help will be highly appreciated!!

You can submit a letter from your ex-colleague who worked with you in the previous company. Also attach a letter stating that your previous company no longer exists.

Its better if your ex-colleague creates a letter head for him-self with his name, contact address and other details. I had similar problem ( one of my previous company (based in India ) refused to give me letter as I broke the contract ).

Attached a template that might be useful to you.

Good luck

Thanks! rk4gc

Thanks a lot for the information. I had an ex-coworker write a letter for me and it was so hard and lucky to locate that guy.
