A little bit confused but just wanted some clearance.
I had an asylum case sent back to the judge for adjudication from BIA (9th circuit sent it back). Judge asked me to fill out prosecutorial discretion since I had an approved I-130 filled by my wife (citizen). Prosecutorial discretion/ motion approved by the judge. I filled I-485 and went for interview. The interviewer verbally approved it so I'm waiting for my Green Card (Permanent Resident Card). Meanwhile I would like to travel once I get my Green card, so I'm not sure if I need to get a Refugee Travel Document or a Reetry Permit. I don not have a passport neither can I get a passport from my country of origin. Which of these am I qualified to apply for? 1. My asylum case is not the basis of my permanent residency. 2. My wife is a US citizen so its not a derivative of a permanent resident (approved through asylum). Any advice help would be highly appreaciated.
Thanks.
