Hi,

H1 visa stamp on my passport expired in 2004. In 2005 I changed to another company and got 7th and 8th year extensions. My 8th year I-797 is valid until April 2007.

I am planning to go by drive to Vancouver, Canda for visa stamping.

My question -
In the worst scenario, if my H1 visa get rejected, Can I re-enter to canada with a Valid I-797 and invalid stamp on passport?

I am sure its not possible from other countries. But I heard that re-entry from canada/mexico within 30 days is possible. Please confirm.

Thanks
