Recvd EAD Card with wrong signature!

Friends,
Today I have recvd EAD cards for myself and wife. ( Concurrent filing, RD 12/15/2002 , California ). Unfortunately they interchanged our signatures on the card. My card is showing her signature and her card showing mine. Also this case was approved only on 05/11/2003. the validity of the card starts from 04/11/2003 to 04/10/2004. Is that correct?
Should I call INS office directly or take help of my attorney?

Thanks
Neelesh

Whatever you do, you will end up sending the cards to BCIS for correction. It might take more than a month to get it fixed.
When you write you can also mention about the wrong start date...

REcap on old information from Nilesh

Hi Nilesh,

I am in the same situation like you were some time back with three year degree and expereience. You got through the I140 and congratulations.

Could you please provide more about the reply which your attorney sent for the RFE.

I educational evaluation is based on Education (Bsc Computer Science) and 9 years of IT expereience. (They used 3 years of expereience out of 9 years for the evaluation)

Could you please provide more information about this?

Thanks,

tiptop,
Sorry to hear about your RFE. I know how worst is getting a RFE especially for such evidence.
This is what we did. Attorney took all my certificates and experience letters etc etc and got a evaluation from an agency. In summary the evaluation report said, my educational background is equivalent to an associate's degree from an accredited community college in U.S and with considering the 9.5 years of employment experience ( 3 years of experience=1 year of university-level credit) i have an equivalent degree in computer information systems from an accredited college of university in the united states.
And I guess attorney also attached a nice covering letter ( which i didn't see) with reply. He was hardly sure about my case.. but some how got through... The evaluation never mentioned about my NIIT diploma at all :(

A good news for you: One of my friend with a Bsc degree got his green card recently and other one (10 years exp) cleared the I140 after RFE.

Good luck,
neel

Hi Nilesh,

Thank you very much for the reply.

My I140 is not yet filed. But I want to make sure that it is filed with all the supporting documents. My lawyer is also preparing a nice covering letter.

He is going to file my I140 with the supporting documents like my educational evaluation report, all the expereience letters (9 years and 7 months in total) and a nice covering letter.

I will pray god and wait.

What elst I can do now..............:)
