Thank you for your service.
I have recently become aware that I have come under LAST ACTION RULE and hence have been working for 2 yr presuming I have this H1 visa till 2011, without realizing I was out of status. The H1 visas were filed by a lawyer.
FIRST H1- JUNE 2006- 31MAY 2008
B1 APPLICATION- 23 MAY 2008
SECOND H1- OCT 2008-SEP 2011
B2 APPROVAL RECEIVED- NOV 2008-DEC 2008.
Sir, could you kindly tell me what can I do from within US to resolve this problem. Someone suggested applying for a Nunc Pro Tunc. Since this is quite subjective, I was wondering if there are other options? My research insititute has terminated me, but are willing to 'help me' and 'take me back' after fixing this mess.
