Recieved letter for reprinting of Finger Prints

Hello,

I and my wife got our FP on May 18th. On June 4th I received a letter from local BCIS office (Norfolk) to appear for reprinting of my FP.

Any idea what's happening ? Did any one of you come across such situation?

On May 31st I called the FBI office to check the status and I was informed that FP was sent on 05/28.

My online status is the same old message " Your case was received on...." but for my wife the I-485 message has changed to "May 27, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

Rakesh,

Sometimes the FP's do not come out clean, in such instances they ask for re FP. My wife has gotten one too, mine was cleared. In my wife's case it was just a case of sweaty Plams, dont worry make sure your hands are dry! when u go out there.

I called up FBI# on 28th May and I was told that FP reports were sent to BCIS and on June 4th I get a letter form local BCIS office for reprinting.
I am really confused.
