Recieved Extension approval after I left the US.

Hi. I recieved my approval of extension after I left the country. I had already stayed over my original I94.At the time of my departure I returned my Original I94 at the airport. I have now received the new I94. Do I have to submit the new one somewhere? How do I do that to avoid any future problems at the Port of Entry?

Since you returned your original I-94 upon departure, you will be fine. As a backup, carry your boarding pass for that flight when you next visit the US.

Thank you for the reply. Does that mean I can keep the new I94 (valid till feb 28th) with me and not return it? My original I 94 was till Dec12 and i left the US on Jan 28th. The I94 has instructions to return it before the last date( like on any I94). I plan to goto US for a short visit in March.
