Recently did anybody apply for EAD renewal online

Guys,
I was trying to apply for EAD renewal online.
Things have changed on the web. my I-129 approval says H1B1, (quite common)
For the column:
Manner of Last Entry into the U.S.: (Visitor, Student, etc.)
The dropdown list contains
1B1: H-1B1 SPECIALITY OCCUPATION
H1B: SPECIALITY OCCUPATION

See, it does not match with either H1B or 1B1: H-1B1
which should I chose??
 
It looks like nobody is applying for EAD online. Why?
I could successfully apply EAD renewal over the web. We aslo took an appointment for FP and photograph.

It doesn't matter, ppl have applied using both 1B1: H-1B1 SPECIALITY OCCUPATION
H1B: SPECIALITY OCCUPATION
and got approved. Don't sweat over this, just go for photo and fingerprints, mail the supporting docs registered + return receipt.

Make your online account at USCIS website, https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
as customer, and wait for the email.
 
Thanks Kjkool. my precipitation is not due to the options..., This is the second time I applied for EAD renewal through online. There is a lot of change since last year. Also, online applications should follow a structure similar to that of filing taxes..., one should be able to save intermediate steps. Eventhough it is a just a one page format. Also there is nothing wrong in generating the pdf format before completing the financial transaction.
 
You are right about not being able to save the application while working on it, and no pdf untill you pay. But maybe no one at USCIS ever filed their taxes online...
 
For every software application, if the requirements are well defined and USE cases are well written, applications can be developed with less problems. Online Tax filing exists for quite some time and there is a competition for it, but for I-765 ???? God knows.
